Primary response to assist in the search for a vehicle reported as going into the river at North Tumbulgum, east of Murwillumbah.
Inter hospital transfer for a male patient from the Ballina District Hospital to the Gold Coast University Hospital.
Tasked to the vessel "Sea Princess" located 15nm east of Pottsville where a female passenger had suffered a stroke. The Medical Team were winch inserted onto the vessel to assess the patient. The patient was then winched aboard the aircraft and transported to the Gold Coast University Hospital.
Primary response to the Warialda racecourse where a female jockey had sustained head injuries following a fall. The female was transported to the Gold Coast University Hospital.
Primary tasking to the Pacific Highway at Tyndale to reports of a multiple vehicle collision with one person trapped. Upon arrival the person had been removed from the vehicle and was assessed by the Medical Team before being transported from the scene by Ambulance.

The Westpac Life Saver Rescue Helicopter was tasked by NSW Ambulance to attend numerous flood related missions over the 4 day period from the 30th March to the 2nd of April.
The Service completed 18 missions during this time with 12 primary missions and 6 inter hospital transfers being performed.
Despite the flood waters entering our Lismore helibase, flight crews and medical teams were relocated and continued to operate from Hepburn Park (Goonellabah) before returning to our helibase on Saturday afternoon.
During the flood event the Service recovered patients (aged from 1 year old to 82 years old) from the following communities and townships: Woody Head, Bexhill, Kyogle, Byron Bay, Ballina, Maclean, Tweed Heads, Whian Whian, Chillingham, Crabbes Creek, Nimbin, Kingsciff and Burringbar to name a few.
We wish to give special thanks to the NSW Ambulance, NSW Police, SES and RFS that assisted us through this natural disaster event. We must also thank the helicopter medical teams who treated and assessed patients under difficult conditions to enable us to transport them in the rescue helicopter safely.

Primary response for a male with breathing difficulties who was isolated by flood waters in the Bungawalbin area (south west of Lismore). The male was transported to the Lismore Base Hospital in a stable condition.

Inter hospital transfer for a male patient from the Lismore Base Hospital to the Pindara Hospital, Gold Coast. Aircraft landed at Westpac Life Saver Rescue Helicopter base at Carrara were the patient was then transported to Pindara Hospital by road ambulance.

Primary tasking to transport a female motorcycle rider from Nymboida to the Coffs Harbour Hospital.
Inter hospital transfer for a male patient suffering a suspected cervical fracture from the Byron Bay Hospital to the Gold Coast University Hospital.
Tasked to the Castle Doyle area (south east of Armidale) for a person suffering a medical condition at the bottom of a gorge / creek area. Paramedics were winch inserted to the scene to assist ground crews before a winch recovery was performed and the patient being transported to the Armidale Airport to meet a local NSW Ambulance crew.
Hospital transfer for a male patient from the Grafton Hospital to the Tweed Heads Hospital.
Primary response to the Rocky River area (south west of Tenterfield) where a male had fallen from a horse. The male was transported to the PA Hospital, Brisbane with spinal injuries.
Hospital transfer for a female patient from the Byron Central Hospital to the Tweed Heads Hospital in a serious condition.
Tasked to the Woodburn area where an adult male had received multiple trauma injuries as a result of a tree falling on him. The male was treated at the scene before being transported to the Gold Coast University Hospital in a serious condition.
Primary response to the North Wall area (Ballina) for a male experiencing difficulties in large surf on a jet ski. On arrival the jet skier was being assisted by local Surf Life Saving members who were able to tow the male and his jet ski to safety.
Primary response to Tweed Heads West for a report of a vehicle that had gone into a river with an unknown number of people trapped. A search was conducted with no sightings of the vehicle.
